1-1 Week-end for Major Atoms
On Saturday the Perth Auto Dismantlers Major Atoms were on the road and faced off against the Burlington Bulldogs. The boys got off to a slow start allowing a goal during the first shift of the game. They soon found their stride as Sam Pepper replied for Stratford, unassisted. The team continued their momentum with two goals from Mark Pyzowski and singles from Ethan Plotnik, Ryan Haines, and Issac Nickel. Colton Kuepfer earned three assists, Quinn Appel had two, while Pepper and Nickel each had one.
The final score was 6-2.
On Sunday at home, the team hosted the Hamilton Huskies. Nathan Gibb opened the scoring assisted by Kuepfer and Pyzowski. Gabe Emms scored the team's second goal assisted by Brett Knechtel and Plotnik. These would be the only goals of the game as they came up short, losing 4-2.
