The Stratford Perth Auto Dismantlers Major Atoms split their first two play-off games with Sarnia this past week-end. They dropped the first game on the road 5-2. Ryan Haines had Stratford's first goal assisted by Nathan Gibb and Mark Pyzowski. Quinn Appel scored the second goal assisted by Pyzowski.
The boys were looking to rebound on Sunday at home. They got off to a quick start, never looked back and won 4-2. Gibb had two goals, while Ethan Plotnik, and Appel rounded out the scoring. Isaac Nickel and Pyzowski had two assists each. Gabe Emms, Colten Kuepfer, and Haines each had single helpers. Goaltender Jesse Merkel made several key saves. The team looks to keep the momentum heading into games 3 & 4 this upcoming week-end.
