Child Fitness Tax Credit Receipts
Child Fitness Tax Credit Receipts have been given to your team Managers for distribution; if you have not yet received yours, please ask your team Manager.
Online Parent Surveys
Online Parent Surveys will be available on or about Wed Feb 1, 2017; survey has been updated for this season and we encourage each family to complete one. Surveys assist with coach selection and other SMHA operational decisions. A link to the survey will be sent to you via your team Manager once the survey is online.
Coaching Applications
SMHA is now accepting Coaching Applications for the 2017-2018 season. Applications available on the SMHA website. Deadline for application is Fri Feb 24, 2017.
Tom Fairbairn Memorial Scholarship
SMHA is now accepting Tom Fairbairn Memorial Scholarship Applications ($500). Criteria and applications are available on the SMHA website. Deadline for application is Tue Feb 28, 2017.
Stratford Warriors Logo Design Contest
Just a reminder that the Junior B organization in conjunction with SMHA is still accepting submissions for their Stratford Warriors Logo Design Contest. A link to additional information can be found on the SMHA website. Deadline for submissions is Tue Feb 28, 2017.
SMHA Banquet
SMHA Banquet will be held Tue April 11, 2017 at 6:00pm in the Community Hall of the Stratford Rotary Complex. Please save the date! The banquet is free for players; parent tickets will be available in March.
Spring Tryouts
Spring Tryouts (Novice, Minor Development and Seeded up to and including Minor Midget) begin on or about Sun Apr 23, 2017. Details and schedule available in March.
Annual General Meeting
The SMHA Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held Wed May 24, 2017 at 7:00pm in the Tim Taylor Lounge of the Stratford Rotary Complex. We encourage parents to participate and if schedules allow for volunteer time, consider joining the SMHA Board of Directors. The association is always in need of good volunteers to help build and maintain the system so Stratford youth have a place to play competitive hockey. Details will be available on the SMHA website prior to the AGM.
