Atoms split first two in round robin action
The Stratford Perth Auto Dismantlers Atom AA’s opened their Alliance Playoffs with a split in round robin action. The Warriors traveled to Hamilton on the weekend and were upended 6-2. The game was tied going into the third before Hamilton erupted with 4 unanswered goals. Stratford competed well with Hamilton for the first two frames on goals from Sean Chisholm and Dean Jackson and steady goaltending from Jared James. Back in action against Waterloo on Thursday evening, Tyler Parr continued his stellar playoffs with another strong performance only being beat by a Waterloo powerplay. The Warriors clawed out a 2-1 victory on goals from Brett Stelmachuk and Sam Davey. Max Britton was a strong performer over the two games with excellent hustle.
