The Stratford Dunnys Source for Sports Atom MD Warriors doubled Sarnia 6-3 in Sarnia Thursday night.
After giving Sarnia the early lead, Jake Gansevles blocked a clearing attempt and went in alone making no mistake to tie the game. Gansevles gave Stratford the lead with his second of the night from Braydon Carnegie and then Sarnia came back to tie it.
Cameron Lynn restored the lead for the Warriors before Sarnia again managed to draw even. The score remained tied into the third when Stratford broke the game open on a goal by Sam Turner. Jordan Tessmer and Luke McCarroll rounded out the scoring for Stratford while Danny Pacheco held Sarnia off the scoreboard in the third to preserve the win.
Liam Taylor, Declan Rintoul, Tim Wickenheiser and Lynn also had assists. Aaron Skinner and Wickenheiser had strong games defensively.
