The Cherrey Bus Lines Minor Bantam A Warriors swept West London in the first round of the Bristol A Playoffs, outscoring their opponents 16 - 4 in three games. On Sunday, at home, the team began the series with a 6 - 3 win. The scoring opened with a goal by Josh Hill, on a feed from Kieran WIntle. Greg Hansford scored at the buzzer of the first, to make it 2 - 1, assisted by Brandon Taylor and Nic Strangway. Hill got his second of the night on a power play goal early in the second, assisted by Evan Metelski and Hansford. Hansford went on to score the next three goals, with Liam Kelly assisting twice, and Taylor and Metelski assisting once more each.
In London on Monday, Metelski scored two goals, one on the power play and one empty-netter, with Hill and Taylor getting one each in the 4 - 1 victory. Hill, Taylor, Randy Wouters, and Hansford all recorded assists, Tyler Johnson was solid in net.
Back at home on Tuesday, the Warriors power play found the mark twice in the 6 - 0 victory. Hill opened the scoring and went on to add two assists.
