Stratford Crabby Joe’s played against the London Bandits Tuesday night in their second game of the round robin playoffs. Luke Merkel and Cody Heinbuch worked hard to keep the puck out of the defensive end while Brayden Bach and Casey Champion fought to keep the puck in the offence. Stratford Crabby Joe’s lost 3 -0.
Thursday night Stratford Crabby Joe’s played an away game against West London. Josh Otto and Trevor Smith played hard trying to keep the lead in the game. In the third period luck changed hands. Stratford Crabby Joe’s ended up losing the game with a score of 8 -3. Goals were scored by Trevor Smith, Brady Simpson and Matt Kahnke, assists went to Trevor Smith, Mitchell McFadden, Jacob Hawley and Jason Kipfer.
Friday night Stratford Crabby Joe’s played their fourth game of the round robin playoffs in Sarnia. Great passes and team work throughout this game made the difference. Luke Merkel and Trevor Smith made strong passes to the front line. The forward lines worked together to end the game in a win 4 -1. Goals were scored by Devin Salter, Cody Heinbuch, Casey Champion and Matt Kahnke, assists were by Jacob Hawley, Josh Otto, Jason Kipfer and Trevor Smith.
