Game Report March 16 and 17
The Scotiabank Major Peewee Rep Warriors split a pair of weekend games against the London Bandits and hold a two games to one lead intheir best-of-seven Alliance Bristol “A” league finals.

Friday night in London, the Warriors had trouble mounting any kind of attack against the hard checking Bandits, but they took advantage of their first power-play of the series when Nathan Hall buried a Clayton Lewis pass for a 1-0 lead late in the second period.  Dalton Smith also assisted.  After London tied the score in the third, the game appeared to be headed for a draw until Brody Hunt deflected a Bradley Kraemer point shot with under two minutes remaining for a 2-1 victory.  Ryan Lay stood tall between the pipes for the win.  At home on St. Patty’s day, the Warriors had no luck at all as they missed several scoring chances early in the game.  London carried a 2-0 lead late into the second period when Lewis broke through and scored on the power-play with Hall and Smith assisting.  But a late push in the third with the extra attacker ended when a blocked shot led to an empty net goal and a 3-1 win for the Bandits.
