Warriors hang in for a tie against Bandits Black
Monday night brought regular season to a close as the Stratford Crabby Joes Minor Bantam MD Warriors took on the London Bandits Black at the Nichols arena in London.  Stratford came out very strong and were rewarded early as Wesley Keutsch got the Warriors on the score sheet with a nice stretch pass from captain Blake Keen and MacCauley Ross picking up the other assist.  Goalie Noah Redfern-Lount kept the momentum going with some key saves in the first period and pushed the Warriors to keep pressuring the Bandits back into their zone.  With the Warriors up 1-0 after the first, the second period began with much of the same pressure.

Only 1 minute into the second period, Trey Uniac found his scoring touch beating the Bandits goalie with a beautiful top shelf shot on an outlet pass from Parker Wamboldt and goalie Noah Redfern-Lount picking up a rare assist. Things were looking great for the Warriors until getting into big penalty trouble in the second. The Bandits wasted no time and with 5 minutes left in the second period, they beat the Warriors goalie making it a 2-1 game at the end of the second. With more penalties for the Warriors in the third, Stratford lost their momentum. With two men in the box, the Bandits scored tying the game 2-2 . The Warriors hung in to walk out of London with a 2-2 tie.
