Overtime Excitement
Written by Dave Graff The Holloway Minor Atom Reps opened up their Alliance Bristol (A) semi- finals with a hard fought 2-1 overtime win over the London Bandits at Dufferin arena on Thursday night.

Zach Carman was the hero on this night, using a great second effort to out work a London opponent in front of the opposition goal before turning and firing home the winner with just over two minutes left in the sudden death overtime. Erik Smith and Caleb Musselman made strong plays down low to keep the puck in the London end and both earned assists on the winning goal. Brody Jeffrey opened the scoring for the Warriors early in period one with assists going to Caleb Musselman and Colten Cowen. The Bandits buried a rebound midway through period two to tie the game but goalie Tallyn Soper shut the door the rest of the way to earn the win. Jack Whitehead and Calaen Trupp had strong games on the Warrior blue line, making several defensive stops.
