Oakridge extends series
Written by Dave Graff

The Holloway Automotive minor atom rep team saw their 20 game league winning streak, playoffs included, come to a crashing halt on Sunday in London, losing 5-3 to host Oakridge.  The Warriors still lead the best of seven Alliance Bristol (A) Championship series three games to one.
Colten Cowen opened the scoring off the opening face off, scoring top shelf just ten seconds into the game with assists going to Brody Jeffrey and Nathan Graff. After Oakridge tied the game and went ahead early in period two with two power play goals, Cowen tied the game with a shorthanded marker with Graff and Owen Duiker getting the assists. The Warriors continued to run into penalty trouble and Oakridge capitalized, scoring two more power play markers and one at even strength to take a 5-2 lead by the mid point of the third period. Brody Jeffrey added one more for the Warriors with assists going to Caleb Musselman and Zach Carman.
On Saturday in Stratford the Warriors defeated Oakridge 5-2 to take the three games to none lead in the series. Caleb Musselman led the way offensively with two goals and one assist. Carter Musselman, Zach Freeland and Cowen added single goals. Call up Danny Scott added two assists while Duiker, Carter Musselman, Carman, Jack Whitehead and Cowen added one a piece.
Game five is set for the Stratford Rec Complex on Saturday at 4:30pm.
