A Productive Weekend
The DUNNY'S SOURCE FOR SPORTS Atom MD Warriors team took 3 of a possible 4 points at home this past weekend.On Saturday they tied London Oakridge 3 to 3. Tyler Gould opened the scoring for Stratford with a nice unassisted goal. Tyson Jurchuk scored the other 2 Warrior goals with Garrett Culliton, Tyler Gibb and Braeden White adding assists. Ezra Lee made some big saves throughout the game. On Sunday the Warriors defeated Sarnia 3 to 2. Tyler Gould opened the scoring with Gabe Plain getting an assist. Tyler Gibb made it 2 to 1 early in the third on a pretty pass from Tyson Jurchuk on the powerplay. Tyler Gibb added his second of the game 3 minutes later with Tyson Jurchuk and Mitchell Ground adding assists on the goal.
The Warriors outshot Sarnia 25 to 9 in the game and dominated the play for most of the game. Cieran Diebolt was solid in net. Bobby Langlands, Keegan McArthur, Connor Hill and Matthew Whittemore played well for the Warriors all weekend.
