A Strong Weekend!
The DUNNY'S SOURCE FOR SPORTS Atom MD team beat the London Bandits Orange 4 to 2 on Friday night. After falling behind 2 to 0 through 2 periods, the Warriors poured it on in the third period. Ezra Lee was solid in net and kept the game close. Scott Thornton had 3 goals and an assist with Matthew Whittemore scoring the other Stratford goal. Braeden White and Connor Hill had strong games on defence while Tyler Gibb and Garrett Culliton forechecked well all game.
On Saturday the Warriors travelled to Sarnia and made the trip well worth it, coming home with a 5 to 1 victory. Tyler Gould had 2 goals with Bobby Langlands, Keegan McArthur and Alex Dingwell adding 1 goal apiece. Tyson Jurchuk had 2 assists with Scott Thornton, Braeden White, Tyler Guy, Matthew Whittemore, Alex Dingwell and Mitchell Ground all adding an assist. Cieran Diebolt had a strong game in net and Carson Teolis, Tyler Gibb and Tyler Guy had strong games for the Warriors.
With these 2 victories the Warriors now sit in a 3 way tie for second place in Alliance Playoff action.
