The Stratford Royal LePage Hiller Realty Minor PeeWee Warriors opened up their quarterfinal series against West London with two wins on the weekend.The Warriors now lead the best of 5 series, 2 games to none. On Sunday at the Allman Arena the Warriors won by a score of 5-1. Stratford fell behind 1-0 early in the second period until Dylan Hall tapped in a rebound shot from Griffin St. Onge. Hayden Arms scored the eventual winning goal with 17 seconds left in the second period with assists to Curtis Eidt and Carter Lewis. The Warriors rolled in the third period with Trent Zorgdrager, Eidt and St. Onge all finding the back of the net. Goaltender Liam McCann kept the game close until the Warriors found their legs in the second period in scoring 5 consecutive goals.

On Saturday night the Warriors dominated the game in a decisive 6-0 opening game victory. Jared Searles opened the scoring with linemates Dominic Boon and David Shantz assisting. Hayden Arms made it 2-0 with helpers from Curtis Eidt and Carter Lewis. Searles made it 3-0 with Trent Zorgdrager assisting. The Warriors went ahead 4-0 on a goal by Lewis with assists to Eidt and Griffin St. Onge. A power play goal from Shantz pushed the Warriors to 5-0 lead with Boon and call up player Kobe Robinson assisting. Lewis finished off the scoring with his second of the game with helpers from Eidt and Arms. Spencer Lazarevich picked up the shutout in net for the Warriors. The Warriors travel to West London on Wednesday for game 3 of the series.
