Scotiabank PeeWees Begin Playoffs series with Kitchener Red
The PeeWees finished AA league play in fifth place, one point back of Kitchener Red whom they face in the first round of playoffs.

Game one saw them come out strong in the first with a beautiful unassisted goal from the point by Sam Wyatt. For Warriors second goal, Zach Otto found the tape of Michael Messerschmidt with a great feed and Michael was able to bury it. Kitchener answered with a goal in the second but the Warriors strong defense were able to hold them off. Otto found the empty net late in the third with assists from Gibb and Hall to secure the important first game 3-1.  Mitch Watt had a strong game for the Warriors in net.

In Saturday’s contest the Warriors opened the scoring with a goal from Max Britton, assisted by Ethan Hill and Brayden Carnegie. Penalty trouble for the Warriors found them giving up two power play goals in the second period and they could not get back in the game giving up an empty net goal late in the third. Danny Pacheco was solid in net.

Sunday in Kitchener Max Britton opened the scoring once again lifting the Warriors to a 1-0 lead. Mitch Watt helped keep the Warriors in the game with some great saves but Kitchener once again capitalized on their power play to go ahead 2-1 in the third. The Warriors were unable to capitalize with an extra attacker in the final seconds and for the third game in a row,  an empty net goal sealed the game resulting in Kitchener taking the lead in the series 2 games to 1
