The Stratford Best Western-The Parlour Peewee MD Warriors swept Sarnia in a home and home series over the weekend.
The Warriors opened with 6-2 home victory on Saturday evening. Jeremi Carman led the way with a 4 point night scoring 2 goals and earning 2 assists. Sam Turner also chipped in 2 goals while Jordan Tessmer and Noah Trudgeon picked up singles. Jacob Taylor, Liam Taylor and Luke McCarroll had one helper each. Jeremy Hill played a strong game between the pipes. Stratford followed their win Saturday with an equally impressive win on the road Sunday. Jacob Taylor tallied twice with singles going to Tessmer, Carman and Turner. Carman, Tyler Anderson and Brett Stelmachuk contributed with assists while Jared James played a solid game in net. The two wins improved the Warriors playoff record to 9-1.
