Stratford's SCI Contractors suffer two tough losses this week-end in playdown action..
Stratford SCI Contractors Minor Bantam MD’s suffered two tough losses this past week-end. On Saturday they travelled to London to play the North London Nationals. Despite skating with the Nationals and controlling the play for most of the game the Warriors found themselves down 3-1 at the end of the third period. Stratford’s only goal was scored after Connor Franke made a great effort on his knees to make a pass to Cole McKay who found the back of the net. On Sunday the West London Hawks came to town and edged the home town boys 2-1 on a deflected second goal. Stratford’s only goal in this game was scored by Jacob Ney on a nice slap shot from the point. Assists went to Chase Windsor and Carson Dunseith. Call ups Sam Turner and Liam Taylor both played great offensive games. The team’s next action is Tuesday night at home.
