Culliton Midgets even series 1-1 with 6-4 win
The Stratford Culliton major midgets bounce back at home in game #2 of the best of 3-5 series with a 6-4 win over Brantford to even series 1-1. Stratford lead 2-0 after one period and 3-0 after 2 periods. Jake Near lead the way with 2 goals and Steven King had a goal and a assist with singles going to Wyatt Landsdale, Mat Knight and Sam Campbell. Jack Rankin had 2 assist with singles going to Zach Houseworth and Nick Castell. Nick Sawdon played well in net stopping 40 shots. Stratford travels to Brantford on Tues.night for game #3 and return home Thursday night at 9:30pm at the Allman arena for game #4.
