Stratford’s Hockey Training Above Tier III Warriors continued play downs this past
week-end. On Saturday they hosted the West London Hawks White Minor. The team played very well but lost by a score of 9-3. Noah Roth opened the scoring for Stratford and Isaac Nickel scored two goals. Daniel Rusen-Steele, Marek Carter, and Brett Knechtel all had assists. Josh Duiker & Jeremy Dakin-Brown made some good saves. Owen Gaylor gave a great effort on defense.
On Sunday Stratford faced the Oakridge Aeros Minor. Again the team played extremely well. The final result was a 5-1 loss. Isaac Nickel scored the lone goal. Eric Haynes, Josh Duiker, and Brett Knechtel were recognized for their efforts.
