The Hishons Custom Tier 1 Warriors
played three games this past week.
Winning one and losing two.
On Thursday they traveled to London to play the West London Hawks. The Warriors were up 2 -0 after two periods but ended up losing 6 to 2. Daniel Van Straaten and Jonas Schmidt scored and Haden Frayne got the lone assist.
On Saturday the Warriors hosted the Oakridge Aeros. Oakridge scored early in the first period. Jonas Schmidt scored late in the second period then straight from the face off at the start of the third. Both goals were unassisted. The Aeros pressed hard in the third but the Stratford defence backed up by some solid goaltending by James Hopper preserved the win.
On Sunday they played the London Bandits. The team fell behind 3 to 1 in the first period and were unable to score any more. The Bandits got one more in the third period. The lone Stratford goal was scored by Daniel Van Straaten.
