Warriors unlucky in London
Playing in their most consistent game all season on Thursday, Dunnys Source for Sports Atom MD Warriors dominated play for three periods against Bandits Orange, but came away with a tough 2-1 loss in London.

The Warriors started strong, carrying the play to London and pinning the Bandits in their zone for much of the first period.  Strong play by the London netminder held the Warriors off the score sheet and a fluke shot from behind the Stratford net snuck in to find the Warriors down 1-0 after a dominating first.  The Warriors continued to battle and seemingly tied the game early in the second period on some hard work down low by Ethan Boersma and Liam Flanagan, but the referee waived the goal off on a controversial play which left the crowd scratching their heads.  However, the Warriors regained their poise and went back to work in the third period. Boersma once again hit the back of the twine early in the frame.  This one as a no doubter on rebound from a hard point shot from Matt Trachsel.  Unfortunately, the Bandits retook the lead a minute later on a nice individual effort that ended in the top shelf of the Stratford net.  The Warriors continued to press the play for the remainder of the game, but were unable to solve the Bandits goaltender who made several keys stops down the stretch including two game saving glove saves with the Warrior net empty.  Truly an impressive team effort from the Warriors who deserved a better fate than the scoreboard showed.  The tribe was led with solid efforts from Maddox Keller and Ethan Skinner on the back end and Nick McCabe and James Koch up front.  Brock Barclay made key saves in the third period to give the Warriors a chance.
