On Tuesday, the Hiller Realty Minor Peewee Rep team traveled to Mitchell for an exhibition game against the Meteors. The Warriors struck first, late in the opening period, after some great work behind the opposition's net. Zach Carman worked the puck along the boards to Caleb Musselman who fed it out front to Zach Freeland. Freeland buried a wrist shot to make it 1 - 0. Mitchell answered back mid-way through the second period with two goals to take a 2 to 1 lead, but the Warriors were able to tie the game late in the second when Musselman converted a pass from Nathan Graff. The Warriors took the lead early in the third when Musselman took a pass from Carman and scored his second goal of the game. The Mitchell team responded again with two unanswered goals to regain the lead with 5 minutes left in the game. Down by 1, the Warriors battled back using hard forechecking and aggressive defence to pin Mitchell in their own end for the last few minutes of the game. Despite several good scoring chances, they were not able to find the equalizer before the buzzer and lost the game, 4 to 3.
