Last weekend of regular season
The SMHA Hiller Royal Lepage Realty Minor Peewee rep team played three times in the last four days to close out the Alliance Regular season, winning two and losing one.

On Sunday in Hamilton the visitors fell behind early on a home side tally just 90 seconds in but a Braydon Tinning powerplay goal evened things up later in period one. A rebound off the end boards from a Jack Whitehead point shot was taken by Colten Cowen who found Tinning alone in front of the Husky net. In what was a fairly even game, the Huskies were fortunate enough to score the game’s next three goals to take a 4-1 lead into the closing minutes. A last minute Michael Tigani goal assisted by Cowen and Erik Smith closed out the scoring.

On Saturday at the Allman arena the Warriors completed a season sweep of the London Mustang White team with a very strong team effort in a 3-1 victory.  All three Warrior goals came in the second period to erase a 1-0 visitor lead as Cowen, Caleb Musselman and Tinning found the back of the net for the home side. Ethan Aarts contributed two helpers for the Warriors while Tinning, Cowen, Whitehead and Carter Stock, after a great individual effort down the right wing, added one each. Goaltender Dailey Trainor made several key saves over the final two periods to help keep the home side ahead to stay.

Last Thursday at the Dufferin the Warriors parlayed solid goaltending from Nolan Traynor into a 2-0 win over the Burlington Bulldogs. A Zach Freeland third period goal served as some insurance for the winners after Calaen Trupp had opened the scoring in the first period. Caleb Musselman, Stock, Smith, and Zach Carman had assists for the Warriors. The Warriors finished seventh in the Alliance Bristol division and will most likely face the Waterloo Wolves Gold in the first round of the Alliance A Playdowns beginning next week.
