Solid Three Games for Tier 1's
The Hishon Custom Novice Tier 1 team had three games in three days and came home with a tie, a loss and a win.

Saturday afternoon the boys travelled to Brantford for an exhibition tilt against the Novice Brantford 99'ers.  Aidan Hill and Brenden Sippel shared the duties between the pipes and both had some key glove saves throughout the game.  Ryan Ganselves opened the scoring on an early feed from Grady Murphy.  Aaron Green picked up another for the Warriors early in the second, while the one two punch of Dawson White and Nathan Siebert delivered a third goal for the Warriors.  Colin Slattery netted two more as did Carter Petrie, while both Murphy and Ganselves picked up their second each of the game in the third period.  Sibert added a single marker in the third to give the Warriors a decisive 10-0 win.

Sunday night the boys faced off against the Oakridge Aeros.  Sippel got the nod in net and stood strong throughout the night with some key saves and limited rebounds.  The lone marker for the Warriors came mid-way through the first from Colin Slattery, assisted by Carter Petrie and Colin Schultz.  The Aeros were able to answer back with one of their own to hold the game at a 1-1 tie.  Strong work on the blue line from Austin Musselman, Cody Bach and Rylan Hall kept the Aeros from finding the back of the net while Blake Hodgson skated hard throughout the game....in both pairs of skates, to hold off the Aeros attack.

Monday night the Warriors travelled once again to London to take on the undefeated Bandits.  The boys fought hard for a full three periods with end to end action and a relentless attack from the Bandits.  Aidan Hill was a stand out in net, fighting off their snipers while the Warrior defense continually worked to take away scoring chances.  The Bandits struck first but the Warriors answered back with a rocket from Lukas Steele, assisted by Colin Schultz and Nathan Siebert.  With the game tied after one period the Bandits pulled ahead in the second, but the Warriors kept fighting with a second goal from Schultz, assisted by Colin Slattery in the third.  Unfortunately, the Bandits took the 5-2 win.
