A Tie, A Win and A Loss for Tier 1's
The Hishon Custom Novice Tier 1 Warriors took on the West London Hawks for a mid-week show down and nabbed one point with a 3-3 tie.

West London opened the scoring with two goals in the first period but the Warriors fought back with a goal from Colin Schultz, assisted by Colin Slattery.  In the second period the Warriors tied it with Carter Petrie going top shelf, assisted by Slattery and Aaron Green.  Slattery netted one of his own, assisted by Cody Bach to give the Warriors the lead to end the second.  With the Warriors hanging on to a 3-2 lead, goalie Brenden Sippel was outstanding continually fighting off the Hawk's power play.  Eventually the Hawks slid one in to tie the game 3-3.

Saturday night saw the Warriors battle against the North London Nationals at home.  Both teams were ready to do battle.  Tough defense from Austin Musselman, Cody Bach, Blake Hodgson and Rylan Hall saw a scoreless first period.  In the second the Warrior offense took charge early with a goal from Carter Petrie, assisted by Blair Stokes.  At the 5 min mark in the second Aaron Green walked in an nabbed a second Warrior goal, assisted by Grady Murphy and Colin Slattery.  In the third period both Stoke and Murphy netted one of their own to give the Warriors the 4-0 lead.  The Nationals only managed to slide one past netminder Aidan Hill who took the win in net.

Sunday saw the Warriors travel to London for a matinee with the Oakridge Aeros.  With London hungry for a win the Warriors needed to battle hard.  Oakridge struck fast and early with a one goal lead to end the first.  They then took a commanding 3-0 lead mid way through the the game.  The Warriors fought back with a goal from Petrie, assisted by Slattery and then another quick one from Slattery, assisted by Musselman to put the Warriors within one. Unfortunately it was too little too late. Despite a solid effort Sippel took the loss in net.
