Silver in the West for Novice Tier 1's!
The Hishon Custom Novice Tier 1 Warriors fought hard against the London Bandits but came up short.

Game 1 of the West Novice finals was played on Easter Friday in London.  Unfortunately the Warriors failed to find their legs and fell 8-0 in the first game of a 4 point series.

In the second game of the series the Warriors took on the Bandits at home Sunday morning.  London struck first to take the lead but Colin Slattery answered back with a goal, assisted by Carter Petrie and Colin Schultz.  Goaltender Aidan Hill fought back against a relentless Bandit attack with outstanding glove saves! Toward the end of the period it looked like Stratford had the lead but the goal was waived off, much to the disappointment of the players and crowd.  With the Bandits taking a commanding lead as the game progressed Grady Murphy sent the puck up the ice to Lukas Steele who fired one in to make it 5-2.  Schultz nabbed a third goal for the Warriors, and with seconds left on the clock Steele got his second of the game, assisted by Cody Bach to make it 8-4.

Congratulations to the Novice Tier 1 Warriors for their second place finish in the West Division and good luck at Provincials on April 8-10!
