Weekend Round-Up - By Craig Campbell
The Perth Auto Dismantlers Major Atom Warriors completed the back end of their home and home exhibition series with Waterloo on Saturday.

Goaltending duties were split between starter Liam Parsons and Noah Campbell.  Backed by the solid play of Parsons, the Warriors kept pace with the smooth skating, slick passing Wolves for much of the game.   With only 2 minutes remaining in the 2nd period, deadlocked at 0-0, the Wolves popped 3 quick goals and added 4 more in the 3rd period to seal the deal.  Cole Meadows strong work ethic offensively and defensively was evident throughout the game.

On Sunday afternoon, the Warriors hosted the Burlington Bulldogs White in the regular season home opener.  The Bulldogs vaulted out of the gate opening up scoring with 2 quick goals in the 1st period.  However, the Warriors refused to quit, clawing their way back into the contest with goals by Ethan Martin and a strong individual effort off the wing by Kaden Brame going bar down to tie up the contest at 2-2.  A goal mouth scramble put the Warriors in front for good with Cole Meadows getting the goal. Sam Jeffries finished off the scoring with an empty netter to secure the win for the Warriors in the last minute of play.  Parsons sound positional play denied the Bulldogs on several occasions late in the game to guarantee the victory.
