The Perth Auto Dismantler Major Atom Warriors hosted the Waterloo Wolves on Monday, a team they have not beaten in two previous tries during the exhibition season.

There was no scoring in the 1st despite goalies at both ends being tested often. The Wolves struck first as they finished off a 2 on 1 going top shelf. Kaden Brame showed his strong skating narrowly missing the equalizer on his breakaway midway through the 2nd. The Warriors pressed through much of the 2nd period, being stymied repeatedly by the Wolves goalie, but Liam Hill's hard work paid off as Jared Gould stuffed home a rebound to tie things up at one late in the frame. The Wolves pushed back as the period came to a close but Campbell stood tall keeping things knotted at 1. Midway through the 3rd, the Wolves tenacious attack could not be held off any longer and they were rewarded with 2 goals in quick succession. With 2 minutes remaining in the contest, the Warriors pulled Campbell in favor of the extra attacker but it was the Wolves who took advantage of empty cage with a shot from centre and taking care of any hopes of a comeback.

On Saturday, Warrior Day, the Major Atom Warriors took on the Burlington Red Bulldogs. The Bulldogs opened the scoring in the first period and didn't look back as they handed the Stratford squad a 6-1 loss. Despite several golden scoring opportunities in the first 30 minutes of the game, the Warriors were unable to get on the scoreboard. However, with 5 minutes remaining in the game, Sam Jeffries tallied on a centering pass from Liam Hill to break the shutout for the Bulldog net-minder.

Next action for the Perth Dismantlers takes place at 6:30pm on Wednesday night at the Molson pad.
