Minor Peewees take Sarnia
Hiller Realty Minor Peewee Rep Warriors extend their unbeaten streak to 6 with a commanding 6-3 win over the Sarnia Sting Wednesday night. Zach McCann tapped in a rebound off a shot by Chadd Langlands and Cole Hislop assisted to get things started. Next, Cole Lewis fired one upstairs to go up 2, assisted by Jacob Hall and Sam Bolger.
Lewis with his second goal on a pass from Nole Musselman and Hall with his second goal of the game unassisted, gave the Warriors a 5-0 cushion.
The Sting weren't laying down though and attempted a comeback with 3 unanswered goals catching the Warrior team sleeping. It wasn't enough however and Cole Hislop blocked a shot at the Warrior's blue line and raced down to fire one in on the empty net.
Carter Chessell kept his composure to hold on for the win. Connor McIntosh was an aggressive machine on defence, not allowing anything to get passed him.
