Warriors Settle for Tie
A goal with 1.8 seconds remaining in regulation time, snatched victory from the hands of the Stratford Warrior Canadian Tire Major Bantams, as they settled for a 2-2 draw against the St. Thomas Stars in Game 3 of the Alliance A Playoff final Tuesday night at the Molson Arena in Stratford.

Kobe Robinson scored the first goal of the game with 30 seconds remaining in the second period, with assists going to Joel DenOtter and Carter Lewis, but that lead was erased just 8 seconds later as St. Thomas tied the game at one before teams headed to the dressing room for the second intermission. Things stayed tight throughout the third, until DenOtter scored on the power play with 2:58 remaining to put the Warriors up 2-1. Assists went to Brendan Moorehead and Kolton Debus. Stratford had several chances to clear the zone and seal the win but had difficulty clearing their zone, and St. Thomas capitalized with 1.8 remaining on a goal mouth scramble.

The five minute overtime frame settled nothing, and the two teams will meet again Wednesday night in St. Thomas, and back in Stratford Thursday night at 8:00 p.m. at the RBC Arena.
