The Stratford Warriors Stratford Motor Products Minor Midget Rep Team split a pair of games to start their season. The team travelled to Kitchener and lost a tough game 2-0 on Saturday, September 12. Their first Home game of the season, on Sunday, September 20, against Waterloo, was a solid victory, winning 4-1.
Noah Trudgeon started the scoring with Sam Wyatt picking up the helper. Liam Taylor scored a second period goal, with assists from Trudgeon and Joel Algra. Third period goals from Dean Jackson and Brayden Carnegie, assisted by Brett Stelmachuck, Cameron Hanson and Carnegie. Waterloo scored 1 in the third, but was shut down otherwise by Stratford goalie, Malachi Albrecht.
