Warriors Battled, Came Up Short
Stratford Motor Products Minor Midget Stratford Warriors lost their last 2 games, despite a good effort. October 31, the team traveled to Hamilton to take on the Huskies. Stratford scored first on the power play. Goal by Max Hall and assisted by Sean Chisholm. Second period goals were scored by Hamilton, leaving Stratford down 2-1.
The game would end that way, although both teams traded many chances. Neither team scored in the third.
The following day, November 1, the Stratford Warriors played at home against the Brantford 99ers. After giving up a power play goal by Brantford, Brayden Carnegie put Stratford on the board, assisted by Dean Jackson. 1-1 going into the second period, Stratford generated many shots, but were unable to beat the Brantford net-minder. Third period started off with the Stratford Warriors down 2-1, but soon after, The Warriors scored on the power play by Dean Simons and assisted by Max Hall and Jacob Taylor. Unfortunately, Brantford answered back with 2 goals and the final score was 4-2 for the opposing team.
