Peewees Take Round 1
Scotiabank Stratford Peewee Warriors win round 1 of playoffs in 4 games against the Kitchener Jr. Rangers.

Saturday the Warriors hosted the Rangers, losing 4-3 in a penalty filled match up. Jacob Hall, Cole Lewis, and Ethan Scrimgeour scoring the Warrior goals with Aubrey Carter assisting Scrimgeour's goal. The Warriors fought hard, killing off many penalties as in game 1 and 2. Russel Sebben played hard but some bad bounces cost the game.


Sunday the Warriors traveled to Kitchener for game 4 winning the game 4-1 and eliminating the Rangers. Chadd Langlands scored the first goal from Kaleb Schalk and then Langlands assisted Nole Musselman's goal going up 2-0. Cole Lewis stole the puck and penalized the Rangers, going upstairs. Aubrey Carter with the 4th goal from Musselman and Scrimgeour, putting the game out of reach for the Rangers.James Cormier-Hazen with the win in net and strong defensive play from Porter Aitken, Connor McIntosh and Sam Bolger keeping the puck out.


Round 2 starts this Thursday against the Brantford 99ers.
