Jr Navy Vets eliminate Warriors from playdowns
The SMHA Cherrey Bus Lines Minor Bantams came out flying in game three and took the lead after Patrick Holloway intercepted a clearing pass in the slot and fired a wrist shot top corner.

That lead stood until just over five minutes remained when the Jr Navy Vets finally got one past Nolan Traynor to tie the game.  Two minutes later Caleb Musselman banged in the rebound to give the Warriors the lead with assists going to Patrick Holloway and Owen Fraser. The Warriors held on during a frantic finish for the 2-1 victory. With a chance to tie the series in Stratford on Sunday, the Warriors could not solve the Jr Navy Vet goalie despite numerous scoring chances. A Woodstock goal midway through the third period and a late empty netter sealed the series with a 2-0 visitor win. Traynor was again strong in the warrior net. The Warriors will now participate in the AA Constellation playoff round with the next opponent not yet determined.

The Warriors opened up the AA Constellation Playdowns against Woodstock with a pair of one goal losses. Sunday in Stratford the Warriors fell 2-1. Brady Ballantyne opened the scoring with a power play marker to give the Warriors the early lead but the Jr Navy Vets answered with two power play goals and held on for the victory.

Saturday in Woodstock the Warriors were unable to hold a late one goal lead and eventually fell 4-3 in overtime. Ben ten Hag opened the scoring with a power play goal late in the first period and Connor Loerzel picking up the helper. After Woodstock had tied it, Caelan Trupp sent Carter Musselman down the right side and he made no mistake and ripped a slap shot home. Once again after the Jr Navy Vets tied the game and again it was a Musselman who put the Warriors out front, Caleb won the faceoff and went bar down with 5:14 to go in the third. Woodstock scored a shorthanded marker with 52 seconds remaining to tie and send the game to overtime and then scored 1:54 into overtime.
