Minor Midgets win first game of A finals
The Stratford Motor Products Minor Midgets defeated the Hamilton
Huskies 5 to 3 in the opening game of the A finals. The Warriors fell
down 2 goals very early but rallied to fend off a very determined Huskies team.
Tyson Hall lead the scoring with a hat trick, while Brady Burdett’s goal and
two assists and Joel DenOtters goal and assist powered the Warriors’ offense.
Single assists went to Brett Maguire, Kobe Robinson, Blake Strickland, Josh
Smith and Jared Searles. Owen Hahn turned the Huskies away repeatedly to
ensure the victory for the Warriors. The Warriors take their 1 -0 series
lead to the Allman on Friday evening at 7 pm.
