Tier Two Warriors vs Cambridge
The Stratford Warriors Tier Two Novice Hockey Team sponsored by Neumeister Motors played at home on Saturday night against the Cambridge Hawks.  The team rebounded from a tough loss Friday night to play a sound game both defensively and on the attack. The Warriors came out on the plus side of a 4-1 final and outshot the Hawks 14-10.

On the attack, Kadyn Adams led the way with a goal and two assists. Cody Duiker had an assist. Evan Hughes returned to the score sheet with another goal. Fischer McPherson had a goal. Ezra Wreford and Lucas Morrison assisted on a goal by Josh Steele in the last seconds of the third period.  Newcomer Nolan Tryssenaar fit in well with his new team and showed tremendous hustle.

On the defense, Rowan Green was impressive and skated well. Kieran Johnson protected the line well and got the puck deep into the offensive zone. Caellum Parsons cleared the puck effectively all game.

Quinn Smith was a standout in net and allowed no goals in his half of the game.

The boys will travel to Cambridge on Sunday morning to complete the home and home contests.
