A dozen goals!!
The Stratford Warriors Tier Two Novice Hockey Team sponsored by Neumeister Motors played in Cambridge Sunday morning in the second game of a weekend series. The team won a convincing and resounding 12-4 victory, controlling the play in all facets of the game. Davis Longston was solid in net turning back the Hawks shots repeatedly.

On the attack, Kadyn Adams was a force with five goals and an assist. Kieran Johnson added his first goal of the season. Rowan Green and Ezra Wreford had a pair of goals each. Evan Hughes and Josh Steele both added a goal. The team was impressive from the first whistle to the end of the game. Nolan Tryssenar added his first point of the season with an assist. Cody Duiker was also a big part of the attack by creating many scoring chances and assisting on a goal. Fischer McPherson also set up a goal in the second period when the Warriors took the game over.

On defense, the team limited scoring chances as a unit and played well together. Most impressive was the contribution of defenders in creating scoring chances. John Spillane assisted on a goal with a lead pass through the middle that resulted in a breakaway. Caellum Parsons had an assist and he kept the puck in the offensive zone over and over. Lucas Morrison also added an assist from the blue line.

Quinn Smith played goal in the second half the game and put an end to the Hawks attempt at a comeback.
