Neumeister Warriors Update
This week, the Neumeister Motors Tier Two Novice Warriors played twice at home. Saturday night they hosted the Woodstock Navy Jets and Tuesday they took on the Kitchener Jr. Rangers Black team. The Warriors started well in both games but ultimately lost 3-1 and 14-2.

Against Woodstock, Josh Steele scored a goal on breakaway that was assisted by Cody Duiker.  Davis Longston shut out the Navy Jets in the third period as the Warriors tried to mount a comeback. John Spillane just missed the blocker side corner on a breakaway. Kieran Johnson looked dangerous in the attacking zone. Nolan Tryssennar was scrappy in the defensive zone as he skated Woodstock attackers away from the Warrior goal. Lukas Morrison and Fischer McPherson played well on defence by clearing the puck and making lead passes.

Against Kitchener on Tuesday night the team started well and were trading chances with the Jr. Rangers. Kadyn Adams scored an unassisted goal in the second period. Kieran Johnson scored late in the second period assisted by Evan Hughes to make the game close. The wheels came off in the third period and whole lot of things happened that led to a lopsided score.

The team will be back at it Wednesday to work on cutting down scoring chances and creating more offence for their next games.
