Neumeister Motors Warriors vs Rangers Blue and Burlington
This week the Neumeister Motors Tier Two Stratford Warriors played two home games. Tuesday they hosted the Kitchener Jr. Rangers Blue Team and lost 4-3 in a thrilling two way contest where the Warriors had one of their best efforts of the season. On Saturday night the team got a late equalizer to pull even with the Bulldogs in a close and excitng 1-1 affair.

On Tuesday, the Warriors played a very close game with the Rangers Blue Team and staged a third period rally that fell just short and included a final push with the goalie out for the last three minutes. Call-up Owen Martin scored his first Tier Two goal in a play assisted by Kadyn Adams. Later, Evan Hughes was set up by Caellum Parsons. A late goal by Rowan Green assisted by Kieran Johnson and Caellum Parsons brought the Warriors to within one though they could not find another. Parsons was all over the place in this one, displaying a determined two way game that makes him hard to play against. Ezra Wreford had a determined effort on the wing and Lukas Morrison was strong on the blue line with some excellent clearances.

On Saturday night the Warriors took on the Bulldogs. Davis Longston had a very solid effort in the first two periods only allowing a goal that he had no chance on and making a string of great saves to stifle the Bulldog attack. Quinn Smith came in for the third period and shutout Burlington with what is getting to be his usual stellar play. Nolan Tryssenaar was a standout on defence using his long reach to keep Bulldog wingers from getting shots on the Warrior net. Kadyn Adams showed tremendous stick handling skills and sent long lead passes throughout the game. In the third period after countless chances to score Rowan Green got the tying goal with 36 seconds remaining on a play assisted by Evan Hughes and Kieran Johnson. The young Warriors tied in what can only be described as a nail biter comprised of many near goals and excellent, standout defensive plays
