The Novice Tier III Warriors pick up 6 points in their last 3 games to secure 4th place in the league.

On Thursday November 9th Stratford played host to London West Black Hawks.  Jason Adair opened the scoring from Caleb Hurley to make it 1-0.  West London Tied the game 4 minutes later at 1-1.  Stratford scored their second goal midway through the second on a scramble in front of the London goalie.  Cohen Bowles banged it in from Ryan Watling and Owen Martin.  Stratford then took over in the third with Liam Micks scoring off a backhand pass from Ethan Schmidt with Luke Hishon also assisting.  Then Schmidt scored 2 straight unassisted goals to take the 5-1 win.  Keesen DeYoung made several good saves in the win.

On November 11, the Rheo Thomson Tier III Warriors downed London West White Hawks 3-2. The Warriors opened the scoring a minute and a half into the game on an unassisted goal by Ethan Schmidt.  The Hawks tied it midway through the second and a minute later on a power play Schmidt scored again from Liam Micks. Late in the second Owen Martin made it 3-1 from Ryan Watling. The Hawks didn’t quit and scored on a blooper in the third to make it 3-2 but Stratford held on defensively with great efforts from Ryder Duchesne and Colton Campbell. Malaika Kibedi made some great saves in the win.

The Warriors then travelled to London to play London Bandits on Sunday November 12th and came away with a solid 12-1 victory. Ethan Schmidt scored 3 times and added 4 assists, Luke Hishon had 3 goals and 3 assists, and Liam Micks had 2 goal and 3 assists to round out the line.  Caleb Hurley had 2 goals and an assist, with singles to Jason Adair and Owen Martin.  Ryan Watling and Nate Meadows had assists.
The 3 Warrior defencemen Ethan Bridges, Nate Meadows and Alexander Erb played extremely well in the win in front of Keesen DeYoung who started in net.

The lil Warriors currently sit in 4th place as they head out on road to face Sarnia and West London Black this upcoming weekend.
