Warriors last minute effort leads to tie against the Hawks Nov 21
The Rheo Thompson Tier III Warriors earned a 3-3 tie with West London Hawks white, November 21.

Malaika Kibedi got the start in net and held the fort behind the revamped lines and defense.

The Warriors opened the scoring on a goal by former defenceman Ethan Bridges with the assists to Jason Adair and Colton Campbell.

West London capitalized on two defensive zone mistakes to make it 2-1 but then Adair tied it after the feed from Cohen Bowles.

Midway through the third, the Hawks took a 3-2 lead. Then with a little over a minute remaining, and Kibedi on the bench in favour of an extra attacker, the Warriors were able to put sustained pressure on the Hawks and scored the tying goal with 20 seconds remaining. Owen Martin and Luke Hishon's hard work in the corner was too much for the Hawks. They fed it over to Ethan Schmidt and he slipped it over to Ethan Bridges who was all alone in front and he ripped it into the net to tie it up 3-3 with 20 seconds remaining.

The new defense pairings of Campbell, and Alexander Erb, and Nate Meadows and Ryan Watling played well. The new lines of Caleb Hurley, Jason Adair, Bowles, Martin, Bridges and Ryder Duchesne played well together. The combination of Schmidt, Hishon and Liam Micks had several great chances offensively.
