The boys were on the road Saturday afternoon to play the Sarnia Jr. Sting. The boys skated away with a 3-0 Win, but struggled to produce as a unit. Scoring for the Jr. Warriors were Mathew Benner (2) and Sammy Binns. Assists going to Tyson Cassone, Spencer Murohy, Jordan Keane and Ryan Wilker.
"We played a much improved Sarnia team that kept us to a limited number of chances. The defence and goaltender, Devon Loerzel played well. Our forwards had a lot of shots but the Sting's goalie stood tall. But we did what we came to do and that was to get 2 points." - Coach
Sunday afternoon the boys hosted the hungry Oakridge Aeros and fell to them 4-1.The Jr. Warriors had an unusual funk this weekend, that they couldn't shake, this afternoon in order to take the W. Scoring the lone goal of the game on a Power Play was Liam Ollson, assisted by Owen Chadwick and Murphy.
