Maintaining First place
The Dunny's Source for Sports Major Atom MD Jr. Warriors didn't skate away with all the points they were hoping for this weekend, but they did skate away with 1.

Saturday afternoon the boys went head to head with the West London Hawks. Although, the Hawks were able to light up the board first, the Jr. Warriors were able to finish the game with a 4-4 tie, competing goal for goal. Tyson Cassone scored the first goal for the Jr. Warriors on rush, assisted by Adam Jeffrey. Jeffrey saw his own path threw the Hawks, with an end to end short handed rush, assisted by Jordan Keane and Spencer Murphy. Starting the third period, Rowan Smith shot a rocket from the blue line that went 'bar down', assisted by Zach Scrimgeour and Luke Jackson. Final goal for the Jr. Warriors was from a two on one rush, created by Cassone with a beautiful pass to Mathew Benner, who hit the back of the net.

Sunday afternoon Jr. Warriors hosted the London Bandits and didn't have as much success. The bandits came out with a game plan and were able to execute the plan, and out played the boys. Scoring the lone goal was Liam Ollson on a power play assisted by Cassone. A big thank you to AP Henry Tuer, who stood between the pipes ending the third period and stopped all shots that came his way.
