The Perth Auto Dismantlers Major Atom Warriors continued their league play with a tie on the road.
On Tuesday night the Warriors travelled down the road to London to take on a strong London Jr Knights Green squad. It was an action packed game that saw both teams going end to end and peppering the respective goalies with numerous shots. Ryan McGill took on that challenge for the Warriors, coming up with key saves in big moments throughout the match. London struck first mid-way through the first on a rush but the Warriors answered back quickly off a feed from Carter Petrie to Blair Stokes. Power plays and penalty kills throughout the game kept both teams on their toes. In the second period London nabbed another one but Grady Murphy rifled one in, assisted by Stokes to tie the game a second time. In the third period the Knights took the lead for the third time in the game, but not a team to give up the Warriors once again battled back as Petrie slid one out to Murphy who tied the game 3-3. Outstanding work from Zach Schultz and Ryan Gansevles on the blue line and a solid team effort all around.
