The Perth Auto Dismantlers Major Atom Rep Warriors could use all the help they can get as they battle it out with London Green in the last game of the series Saturday March 3 @2:30 (RBC).
On Thursday night the Warriors travelled to London for Game 6 of an 8 point series. Once again it was a show down with both teams pressing and looking for the win. London got off to a quick start with back to back goals to end the first period. Stratford responded with a goal from Carter Petrie to open the second period, assisted by Blair Stokes and Ryan Gansevles. London answered back, sliding one passed Brenden Sippel making it 3-1. In the third period Stratford put the pressure on down low and Petrie found the back of the net, unassisted putting the Warriors within one. Moments later Lukas Steele teed up a beauty and tied the game 3-3, assisted by Petrie and Nathan Siebert. In the dying moments of the game London was able to slide one past McGill and grab an empty netter for a 5-3 win. The Warriors now find themselves in a must win situation Saturday at home.
