Warriors pick up 3 points by Brock Appel
Another busy weekend for the Royal Lepage Hiller Realty Stratford Minor Peewee Jr. Warriors. The squad had a rare Thursday night road game in Kitchener and the team did not disappoint.

After losing to Kitchener Red twice last week the boys were ready for a different outcome.  Red got on the board first on a powerplay marker and took a one nothing lead going into the second.  The boys foundthemselves down three nothing going into the third, but a pp goal from Luke Ahrens unassisted got Stratford on the board. Shortly after Mark Pyzowski came streaking down the right side and went five hole to make it 3 - 2.  With 5 minutes left and the boys buzzing Quinn Appel slid one in during a goal mouth scramble to tie the game, Hayden Beuermann played solid between the pipes and gave the team a fighting chance.  Nothing was resolved in the final 5 and the game ended 3-3.

Saturday’s game versus arch rivals Brantford 99ers was a good one for the team, led by Jesse Merkel in net with a shutout.  The 99ers could not get anything going and the boys scored 4 in a decisive victory. Goal scorers were Isaac Nickel from Ryan Haines and Brett Knechtel, Max Harvey unassisted and Nickel with another one also unassisted.  Gabe Emms put the icing on the cake with one from his linemates Haines and Nickel.  A dominant performance from start to finish.

The third game in four days saw Hiller Reality Peewees travel to London to play the Knights White. A fatigued Stratford team could only hang with the Knights for two periods until the Knights pulled away. Isaac Nickel scored twice in the loss, with assists coming from Haines, Emms and Owen Gaylor.
