Warriors Dominate in Hamilton by Brock Appel
The Stratford Hiller Realty Minor Pee Wees continued to roll as they defeated the Hamilton Huskies 7-1 on Sunday. The Warrior D came up big this game.
Kaleb Martin and Colten Kuepfer were excellent in starting the rush with their crisp breakout passes. Owen Gaylor and Beckham McLeod displayed impeccable gap control keeping the Huskies out of the house and Brett Knechtel and Nathan Gibb kept the crease clear punishing any transgressors. The offence did its part with goals by Ryan Haines, Quinn Appel (2) , Luke Ahrens (2), Nathaniel Smith and Isaac Nickel. Helpers were earned by Mark Pyzowski (2), Kuepfer, Nickel(2), Gaylor, Gibb, Appel and Smith. Jesse Merkel frustrated the Huskies shooters when called upon by making some big saves between the pipes. Next up are big games vs Woodstock and Kitchener.
