Scotiabank Major Peewee Rep Stratford Jr. Warriors had an exciting game against the GLHA Mustangs Purple, winning 3-2 to win the series!

Game #4 — Major Peewee Rep Jr. Warriors vs GLHA Mustangs Purple Game 4 started slow on Saturday evening in the Medway arena in London. Warriors were up 2-1 in the series and knew if they won this game that they would head to Waterloo to face off against the Wolves. Cole Meadows won a face off over to Jared Gould who got the puck back to Sam Jeffrey who took a wrist shot from the point off the crossbar and in!

Liam Parsons saw some action in net to start the second period but the score remained 1-0 for the Warriors. Kaden Brame got the puck to Ayden Hakkers who deaked the Mustangs goalie and scored to give us a 2 goal lead! Ethan Pearce won a race down the ice and put it off the post. The Mustangs came back with a goal then got a penalty. Warriors gave up a short handed goal for the game to get tied up 2-2. Ryan Middegaal shot from the point and Gould tipped it on net. Then Gould got his own rebound and popped it in!

Warriors were up 3-2 to start the 3rd period. Could they hold on to it and win the series? Gould tried to get another goal on a good shot from a breakaway. Coincidental minors were called and 5 on 5 play continued. Warriors put heavy offensive pressure on the Mustangs through a power play. Parsons stared down a Mustangs breakaway and stopped the puck. With 3 minutes left Warriors got a penalty. Luke Zorgdrager worked hard on the PK line to help ensure victory and the Warriors won 3-2!!!

Now on to face the Waterloo Wolves - a tough opponent but the Major Peewees are up for the challenge!
