Minor Bantams On Their Way Up
The Cherrey Bus Line Minor Bantams were on the road this past weekend.
Saturday they met up with the Burlington Bulldogs and came out ahead with a score of 5-3. Russel Sebben was between the pipes and with the help of his great defenceman kept the Bulldogs out. Stratford goals came from Jacob Hall(2),Nick Houben, Matthew Barber who made some nice moves and found the back of the net and final goal came from Issac Deline with a slapshot from the point. The assists came from hard working Sam Bolger, Cole Lewis, Zach McCann and Tyler Wagler.
Sunday the Warriors headed to Sarnia where they played another great game which ended in a 3-3 tie. The strong defence of Porter Aitken, Tripp Gilbert and Connor McIntosh helped keep Sarnia away from the netminder Sebben, who played another great game. Stratford goals Lewis (2), Houben with a powerplay goal, and assists from McCann (2) and Lewis.
