Silverstick For The Cherrey Bus Lines Minor Bantams
The Cherrey Bus Lines minor bantams participated in Stratford's 45th "AA" Silverstick qualifier tournament over the Christmas break.

The bantams came out with a record of 1-2-0. Starting Dec 28th against Halton-Hills. The boys had a great defensive game and no mistakes were made in net from James Cormier-Hazen. The Warriors came out with a big  4-1 win. The offense also had a great game, starting the scoring was Tyler Wagler from Jacob Hall. Second goal saw Ethan Scrimgeour make no mistake off a feed from Issac Deline and the next two goals came from Zach McCann, asstists Matthew Barber and Sam Bolger (2). Next up was against The Toronto Wolverines, the boys fell short with a score of 5-2. Russel Sebben was between the pipes. Wagler once again started the scoring assisted by Hall, and the second goal scored by Hall off a great pass from Cole Lewis. The final game of the tournament ended 4-1 against the Hamliton Huskies, lone goal from Stratford was scored by Scrimgeour. 
The Bantams knew going into Silverstick it maybe a challenge, but the boys never gave up and enjoyed playing in their home town tournament.
